Thousands of ethnic Malays in red shirts staged a rally on 16 September 2015 to uphold Malay dominance and support Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak’s government, following calls for Najib to step down over a $700 million financial scandal. In the excitement, there were about 1000 protesters would try to enter the Chinese people hereditary business in Petaling street. After two hours of attempting to breach the police barricades in Petaling Street, rally goers finally agreed to abide by the authorities’ orders to disperse. They have proved that they managed to disrupt business hours in that area and they dispersed peacefully. Here some of the compilation series of photographs witnessed by Malaysian young photographers talent.
